This was the story I didn't know I needed in my life. I love how real all of Jane Austen's characters feel, even if they are exaggerated in some ways. I love how each person's mannerisms and style of speech are captured, so that you feel like you know each one personally. I know lots of people will say that Jane Austen's novels are just people going to each other's houses, which is true in some ways, but I think you're missing out if you don't also look at the relationships and social commentary going on.
Anyway. A great book, I'll give it five out of five spinning books. I will say, I might not have been able to really digest this story if I hadn't heard it read aloud. If you struggle with comprehending more antiquated language like me, give the audiobook version a try!
