I loved this book!! Definitely a longer read, so before you get started know you're in it for the long haul. It's set in Industrial Revolution-era London, but there's a slight magical twist. I really appreciated that the fantasy elements in this story were so realistic and logical. It made the world feel so believable. I also loved the characters. This book pushed me to think about imperialism and power in a way I hadn't before.
I would rate this book a five out of five spinning books. It took me a little longer to get through, but I didn't mind because I enjoyed every page. I don't want to give too much away, but I was crushed by the ending, so make sure to do something nice for yourself after you read this one.
